How to Book a Cottage

When you have chosen a cottage call us at 705-457-1754 at any time morning, noon our evening, or send us an e-mail and tell us which cottage you wish to reserve, and the dates you wish to reserve the cottage.

The cost of renting a cottage is the advertised rate on the Gallery Page- taxes are already included in the price and there are no additional surcharges included in the rental price.

The $350 Security Deposit cheque is held until the cottage is checked, a post dated cheque for the full rental amount should be dated 30 days prior to the commencement of your holiday. All cottage rental payments are paid directly by you to the cottage owners before the arrival date.

All payments that arrive after the 30 day period pior to the start of your holiday must be made by certified cheque or money order.

You will receive an information package 20 days before your rental period. It will contain a map to the cottage, emergency phone numbers, other needed information and the Lock Box number for your cottage.

Security Deposit

The $350 security deposit will be returned to you within 15 days of departing the cottage if there were no damages by you or your group, excessive cleaning requirements, loss of dump card, long distance telephone charges, propane refill or other costs .

When you arrive at the cottage you will find a dump card or landfill permit which you will need when you take your garbage to the local garbage dump.  If you lose this card, $25 will be deducted from your security deposit which is the cost of a new landfill card at the local municipal office.

After your departure, our staff checks the cottage before the next renter arrives. If the cottage needs cleaning after your use or repairs have to be made, the cost of that cleaning and those repairs will be deducted from your security deposit.

You are expected to leave the property(inside and outside)in the same condition as you found it.

Lock Boxes

All our cottages have a lock box attached to the door of the cottage. You will receive a map to the cottage and the code to open this lock box with your information package 10 days before your vacation is to start.  All you do when you arrive at the cottage is locate the lock box on the door, punch in the code provided for your cottage, open the lock box, open the cottage door with the key. When your vacation is over, ensure that the key is in the lock box and ensure that the lock box is indeed locked.
